The best Sat Nav at affordable price?!

My 18 year old son saved up for so long for a tomtom 510, which he had a month before he made the mistake of leaving it all in his glove compartment for 20mins while visiting his friend. The thieves must have seen the marks on the window.

He is devastated, and i wanted to suprise him with a new one. There is no way i can afford the tomtom 510, so does anyone know of any good sat nav systems that are a bit more affordable than that one.

Under £300 would be ideal.

heres the top spec predecessor to the new GO range for under £300

i've had the same one for a number of months now and love it :D

Wow, thanks for that, are you sure that these are definately "as new"?

Did you buy your one from one of these sites that refurbish them?

If i know that someone else has had no problems then i might go ahead with the buy as it is a bargain.

How does that work? Are they distibuting it under license or is this the old version (before you started charging membership fees?)

yep mines was "as new"...you coulndt tell the difference other than a sticker on the box to sai it was refurbished. it s still got the full 12 month warranty as well.

mine also came with the speed cameras.
