Hi
I've downloaded and unzipped the lastest 'single all cams' database for Navman.

When I open the file there are NO .CSV files, just ASC's? I've opened with Excel and tried to save as a CSV file which I can, but the Navman console doesn't recognise it.

When in Excel I can see a whole list of long & lat data, so it's there, it's just I need it in a CSV format for Navman or it doesn't want to play.

When I try to convert the file using Excel, it warns that some data might be lost! I've tried saving in DOS CSV and Delimited CSV.

Please help.

You can use the ASC Files as they are. It is only a Text File with a different Extension.

If you still want to use a CSV Extension, just change it from ASC and OK at the Warnings.;)

Hi Richard

Thanks for your reply, but I'm still struggling.

When I try and open a file with the Navman console it will only open files with a .CSV extension. The option to select and open any other type of file is simply not there.

When I did find a way to open the ASC file, Navman just popped up a 'file type not recognised' message.

How can I convert it to a CSV. Via Excel it errors on saving (warning that some data might be lost etc). But I still saved the file and tried to open through Navman, but there was no data there.

Any other help would be fantastic.

Thanks

Martin

If you still want to use a CSV Extension, just change it from ASC to CSV, and Click YES at the Warning.
