Which portable unit/map covers Slovenia

I'm off travelling around Slovenia and Northen Italy in September and don't want to get too lost.

Are there any recommendations for GPS units/maps that will work well for these areas.

My missus has a TomTom 300, but TomTom are still working on their maps....so what other units are there that will give me confidence whilst driving out there on the "wrong" side of the road, whilst sitting on the "wrong" side of the car ??
