Canary Island Maps for Nav 5?

Hi all - I know this has been discussed in the past, but map issues should be fluid enough to require updated information!

Is there a map available for Nav 5 (latest) which covers the Canary Islands (or better still, just Grand Canaria)?

I can see the Iberian map set doesn't (according to TT www) include the canaries.

I can see that Grand Canaria (town) can be downloaded. Does this include the full island?

I presume western europe doesn't, as this isn't included in Iberia (besides, do I need to pay for a continent just to see an island?!)

Any advice would be gratefully received.

The Canary Isles come as a seperate Map on the CD Collection of the Maps of Western Europe. I don't know of any other source.

Thanks Richard - it's as I feared... TT making good use of the 'net, despite the way it describes only having to buy the maps you need through Extras!

So, every country in Europe required to Navigate just on a single (small) island!

To make matters worse, TT aren't selling the 'ROMs at the moment - no doubt because an update is imminent - meaning I have to buy an immediately obsolete package from a third party! [Ignore me, I'm just convinced the whole world is out to get me! ]

A very helpful & polite TT Support person has just advised me that the Canary Islands are not available for Nav 5. Not even on the Western Europe Map kit (CD).

There is a map via TT Plus of Las Palmas town, but doesn't extend to the whole island.

If I wanted to, I WOULD get the Canary Islands map if I bought a TT Go 710!!!

Is there ANY further evidence required of TT's inability to support it's customers???!!!! The maps exist and they can't find their way to selling them to a customer unless they purchase a new all-in-one unit. As a Nav 5 owner of 3 months, you can imagine how I feel!
