Garmin Streetpilot 310 - Trouble downloading POI's

Hi I am a new user and have downloade the Garmin POI loader ok and have downloaded Pocketgps database as a zip file and moved this to a new folder, when tried to load Streetpilot via POI loader I get the message "no valid data found". What am I doing wrong? any suggestions please?

Have you unzipped the file?

Thanks for that Anita,I had opened the zip file but could not locate it in the browser, I have now managed to unzip and have successfully uploaded to my Streetpilot.
