|
|
Hi
I Got a Ipaq 3850 with a Globalsat BR-355 Reciver connected om same cable thats charge the ipac. The Ipaq charges fine when Tomtom5 is not running. When i start TT5 it stops charge the Ipaq after aboute 30 seconds.
If i let TT5 run in the background and go into another program it starts to charge again.
Does anyone got an idea whats the problem is?
It's frustrating on long travels the Ipaq runs out of battery if i use TT5 all the time.
Plz help

That's a well known issue. TomTom tends to use 100% of the processor, and the charging circuitry doesn't get enough attention from the processor.
Not much you can do apart from upgrading to the newest TomTom version (as of this writing 5.21), it is a tad less processor hungry. _________________ Lutz

It's not the fault of the GPS. It's the software that's the culprit. _________________ Lutz
