Hi all I am new to this Gps stuff and this site.
I read the thread on installing tomtom on a 175 and have managed the hack. But when trying to find the right version of tt i am getting lost.
The ppc version that goes on the card don't run, the palm version dont seem to have a setup.exe and the unknown version that has a setup.exe goes through the motions ask's me where to save the file but does not actually install tt.
Can any one point me in the right direction......

It is Windows CE. You will need the TomTom Navigator version, but also some Pocket PC DLLs. You may be able to get those from the Mio defacement pack.

As you are aware by now you need a fully licensed version of TomTom Navigator, and you need to spend a product code to receive an activation code.

TomTom Navigator requires online software activation. All copies of TomTom Navigator are sold with a product code. This product code can be used to activate the software on one device. Click here to download the full version of the TomTom License agreement.

Second hand TomTom Navigator products are likely to have already been activated once or more by the first buyer and the product code may therefore no longer be valid. For this reason we advise our customers not to purchase TomTom Navigator second hand. If you have already purchased a second hand TomTom Navigator product and cannot activate the software, we suggest you return it to the seller.
