PocketGear 2030 & Tom Tom 2

I currently use a PocketGear 2030 and am thinking of buying Tom Tom GPS package. I do quite high mileage all over the UK so need a reliable in car autoroute. Is anyone using this set up and does it work well. Any other considerations I need to think about before I splash the cash.

There is no reason whey it should not work.

Tom Tom does not offer a GPS package for this.
But you can use one of many Garmin/Magellan handhelds and get a cable from us and you are away.

2030 use the same cable/interface as Viewsinic V35.

Leadtek do also have a cable for the Viewsonics, so I can't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to get a cable for the TomTom standard GPS of 9531/9532. You may not be able to purchase this in most shops, you might have to purchase the cable seperately.
