camera speed limits

Hi

Just bought a Garmin Nuvi 310 and managed succesfully to download the camera database, i think as it identifies the various cameras etc but...

When i approach a speed camera, the speed limits my unit gives me seem inaccurate ie ina clearyly marked 30mph zone it says 19mph and in a 50mph. it gave me 37mph once and 43mph on a couple of occasions.

Can you provide any advice/ guidance

Reload the database and make sure POILoader is set to MPH and the unit is set to Statute Measurement.

You have one of them wrong....

apologies if this sounds stupid but

do i do this on the actually unit, if so where ? or

actually on the POI loader at the garmin website, again where ? or

actually on the downnloaded database and again where ?

You do this on the POI Loader screen on the PC, by default it is set to KPH, simply swap it over to MPH and all will work fine - Mike
