Newbie to i3 - what happens when.......

Hi all

This morning I managed to get my hands on one of the few remaining Garmin i3's about. Doesnt come with much of an instruction book does it!

All well so far. Upgraded firmware to 3.1, uploaded the POI's from MaFt, subscribed to the speed camera database and uploaded it.

Drove to work and back, everything good.

Just wondered what actually happens when I come across a speed camera?! I take it the sat nav "bongs in some way" but only if I'm over the speed limit? As the cameras are a POI, does the sat nav "bong" when it comes across any POI or is this all specified in the uploaded file?

I see theres also some utilities to alter the timing of the wanings you get. Is this worth doing? Do you get plenty of warning by default?
