TomTom ONE V5.450 - How to update without using TT HOME ??

I bought a TomTom ONE this week to replace my dodgy ViaMichelin/Palm GPS which I've used for a couple of years.

The software version is App 5.450 (5652/060328) OS:1011, and I understand v6.2 is now available and has extra features like configurable menus, which would be nice.

Also, Map version is Map Great_Britain-Map v605 - I am not sure if this the latest and know maps are updated a lot less often than software?

I downloaded and installed TomTom HOME on my Work PC, which finds the update, but fails to download it with 'connection error' - I assume this is because I connect to internet through a proxy server, which HOME doesn't recognise.

I have no other way of downloading an update, so please can someone let me know how I can download the latest ONE update from a direct web link, or tell me if its not worth updating ??

I emailed TomTom yesterday but they haven't replied, so perhaps they are baffled by the concept of a 'proxy', their download page seems to have had all direct links replaced with a link to the TomTom HOME page!

get the version 6.15 from one of the fileshares on the web (no, we won't give you the link), then open it with WinRAR and copy all files as is to the root of the SD card.
