just thought I would try to find out as no one has replied to my question on the use of power leads in the car....can I use the same power lead from the ciggy lighter for both the Nuvi 310 and the Mio C510E.
Not too difficult I thought....just one reply would do it....dont want to connect them up and find I shouldnt have....that all.....Thank you.

Regards....Dil | If the Nuvi uses the same mini-USB connector to plug into the body of the device as the C510 does, you should be ok as USB voltage is always +5v. I assume you can use the same USB lead for the two devices when you connect them up to your PC?

Peasemold, thank you for the reply, yes they are the same connection have tried the cable on both devices, using the Nuvi one with the 90% angle and it fits the mio C510E, which made me think it would be easier just having the one cable in the car.

Right, have connected the mio to the pc using the Nuvi usb cable and it started charging up, then checked for speedcam updates and it did that ok also. Then connected it up to the Nuvi cable in the car and it was fine.
So I have now taken out the power cable for the mio and will just use the one cable....sorted.
