510 Handsfree mic Problem

Got my first GPS after being amaized with my m8s 700.

Went for the 510 as I want the SD card and the money was right.....

Hands Free

I have a ericcson 750i which linked up no bother via bluetooth but callers are saying that I sound broken up and not to good. ( not all the time I ad ) I have tested my phone with my m8s 700, all is well with the phone. Tested his phone on my 510 and the same probs with the sound. No tried the external mic yet, but want to avoid if poss.

I am on 6.100 firmware and cant get the new 6.140 as the site is down for the mo. I wonder if this has been fixed? His 700 works great handsfree and I would think the hardware would be the same?

I hope they can sort this as I like everything else with the unit and dont wish to change.

Mine is the same, however the external mike works fine if positioned somewhere convenient in the car

Hi,
I'm using the 750i with my 910, and when I fist used it without the external microphone it was dire to say the least. With the external mike it's soooo much better.
