Please remember Pixmania are based in France - this means 2 things - the preloaded map on the Nuvi is likely to be French, although with the 310D you can load the UK map off the DVD onto an SD card (probably not included). Also (unless stated otherwise), the GTM12 in the package is likely to have a lifetime subscription to the French V-Traffic, and hence an additional charge may be payable for a UK traffic subscription. With these points, you may find it's cheaper to buy in the UK, unless Pixmania explicitly state it's a UK model, which the last time I looked at the Nuvi 310D at Pixmania, it was the French version. |

Hi
The model is the European one with French maps pre-loaded, although you may find that the whole of Europe is pre-loaded, either way it can be transferred from CD. Having looked more carefully at the spec. there is no mention of the GTM12 so anyone considering purchasing via Pixmania should check the position first. |
