TomTom Nav 5 & GPS10

I have TomTom Nav 5 on my pda and it ran great with my tomtom bluetooth receiver. But a few weeks back I dropped the TomTom receiver and now it won't work. I'm thinking of getting the Garmin GPS10 OEM receiver and would like to use it with the TomTom Nav 5 software. Is this possible? I know the TomTom nav 5 software has a GPS configuration setup and you can choose other bluetooth receivers, but I don't know if the GPS10 supports the same protocall, or if there are limitations to nav 5 when using GPS10 instead of a TomTom bluetooth receiver.

This unit will work with TomTom as it uses NMEA data output, however its not a SiRF-III equiped device so I would have a look around at some alternates, SiRF-III just gives you better reception, I wouldn't consider anything less than a SiRF-III equipped unit these days - Mike
