I've just purchased a new TomTom 710, I've downloaded POI. How can I put the POI in my TOMTOM ?

I also had the same question when I got my new 510, the new home software was just frustraiting unless your downloading from tomtom directly. Basically all I did was link my 510 up to the pc and open the GB map, then drag and drop. you will know its the correct location when you see the speed camera ov2 files. hope this info is adequate good luck. |

As WAR said you can drag and drop or copy and paste the files into the GB MAPS folder but before you do anything BACK UP yoursatnav onto your pc |

If you want to have a look at instructions aimed at doing this have a read through THIS OK it was written for the 910 but the only bit that differs is the TTS set-up that your machine doesn't (or should that read shouldn't) have, read the first part and it will show you the screen to expect and what to do, its not difficult - Mike |
