Hi There
Does anyone know of GPS software for the PocketPC that will calculate Quarter-mile times, 0-60 times, etc ?
Thanks |

Welcome to the forum, before you start thinking of doing this please bear in mind the limitations a civil GPS system contains, it will output an update of data postion, velocity etc once per second so its not too good for short burst timing where you would want (I imagine a time accurate to at least 1/100 of a second or better) - there was a GPS unit mentioned on the forum a while back that gave four updates per second, but even this will only resolve to 1/4 of a second - Mike |

Hi Mike
Thanks for you reply. I thought about the same thing as well. I am not too concerned about 100th of a second, I just need something more or less. Just to mess around with while I am performing mods on my race car.
Thanks - Justin |
