i3 software and maps(free up space)

please can someone tell me if the actual software is ont he machine or on
the micro sd card. i ask this as i bought the i3 to get me to spain in acouple of months but spain isn't on the card(city navigator europe nt)
so do i have to buy new card or can the map be downloaded to my 256mb card.also can i remove other maps that are useless to me to make space on the card.i only need england france +spain.and can i put one destination (ie) benidorm address and the machine will take me there
from my home address.

i know there's a lot to answer here but if anyone can help please do as i only bought it yesterday (£100)new.if this is not possible maybe better of getting refund and goin for tom tom which i know definitley can(although bit more expensive) thanx in advance

You don't say, but I'm assuming you have a UK i3 with UK and Ireland and North-West France installed.

You'd have to buy the full French and Spanish maps either on micro-SD or on a Navigator DVD.

Advice I have recieved from this forum is to install additional maps to a fresh micro-SD card and swap this in when you get outside of the range of your current UK maps. Installing Spanish/French maps to your current card would over-write your UK maps as all maps are stored in a single file.

Think I answered this post elsewhere - are you scattering similar posts willy-nilly elraco1? Naughty boy/girl.

Look for 'Metroguide Europe v8' on ebay - todays price £44. Use img2gps freeware to upload the map files (*.img) to your card and away you jolly well go.
