Could someone tell me if its possible to do screen dumps on my Classic with ver 6.12 s/w ??
I dont mind running other apps on it to perform this task.

The "correct" way to do screen dumps is through scripting. You can create a Linux shell script that can be called from the GO menu, and then, with a certain delay, will copy the framebuffer to a raw file. This can then be read with Irfanview and converted to JPG etc.
Of course this is also possible through the serial console but you need the SDK and a special cable for that. Shell scripting is free. _________________ Lutz
