Hi all,
I' tried to search on this problem before posting, but haven't found anything that is a complete hit for my issue.
I plug my Nuvi 310 to my PC using the supplied USB cable, and within File Explorer I can see removable disk drive 'G'. When I click on it I get ''pleas insert a disk into Drive G''.
Using Webupdater it never sees the GPS, but on the NUVI GPS screen there is a picture of it plugged into a PC.
I did get a small hit on the GARMIN site that said if you have mapped or shared external drives (I DO) then you should map the GPS drive.
This doesnt appear to help either.

Have you tried turning on the Nuvi before connecting it to your PC? And do you get the Bing Bong tone when you connect it? _________________ Ipaq hx2750, TTN5, Globalsat 338 GPS, Garmin Nuvi 310D and GTM12, TomTom GO910 and now GO540
God gave us the Integer, the rest was devised by man.
Hi,
Thanks for responding, I decided to remove the device drivers unplug the unit, re-cycle the PC, re-attach the GPS and it re-loaded the drivers.
Now everything ok
