|
|
Hi,
I have just brought a Nuvi 660 and was wondering if it is possible to convert a customer database file from my TomTom Pda (OV2) so that I can use it with the 660
Regards

Yes. Search for POIConverter on Google; it converts POI formats. 8) _________________ Tim |

Hi Tim,
Thanks for the reply, I have downloaded POIConvert and tried to convert one of my existing .OV2 files into a .gpx format, is this the correct format and if so where abouts on the nuvi do I have to copy it so that I can load the custom poi's

The Garmin POILoader will import .csv or .gpx files into your device. You just have to point POILoader in the right direction. _________________ Tim |

Just a quick addendum. In the POILoader Helpfile it says that both .csv and .gpx files are supported but in the FAQ on Garmin's website it says that only .csv files are supported. So much for consistency. _________________ Tim |
