I bought the magellan roadmate 300 of ebay fairly cheap. Didnt mention it was used. Now when I search for my location it says im in northern california near san bernardino when im really in buffalo new york. Ive searched othe forums and through the web site and software for help with no success. Please help.

remove the battery, or do a hard reset according to the manual. Then power the receiver on and let it sit in the sun for 15 minutes. That should teach it to behave.
