Hello all, my first post.
I have an IPaq 2210 running TomTom Navigator 5. I have created a poi file for all of my company offices. However when I want to navigate to POI I only have 100 listed which are closest from my home.
Therefore I cannot find any POI's in this file more than 50 miles away from home. Currently I can only set up a route to these missing from the POI list by using the 2d map, which is far from satisfactory.
Is there any way of forcing more than 100 poi's in the list.
Many thanks in advance.
Ps I have tried to search for answers to this so appologies if I have missed any, can only find responses to showing more than 39 poi categories which is not my question I'm afraid.
I don't think there is a way of getting more than 100 to show in the list but the method you could use is the search function.
When you "Navigate to POI" and you get the list view up, in the bottem left hand corner there is an icon that "looks" like a keyboard if you press this and then start to enter the name of the POI you are looking for (in your case the office) TT will filter the list to only include the ones with whatever you typed. This filter is accross the whole of the list of POI in the table not just the closet 100.

TomTom Navigator will only list a certain number of POIs in the Navigate to POI list. I can’t remember off hand how many it is limited to, but I think it’s related to the actual number of POIs and/or their straight line distance to you.

Please use:
Navigate to ... | Point of interest | your company POI
If you’ve included the town or full address in the description field of each POI of your company offices then you can tap on the keyboard icon (bottom left hand side) on the list, and type in the town. Every POI description that contains a match to what you’ve typed will be displayed, regardless of the distance.
If you have more than one office in a town then you’ll get all offices listed. The format I tend to use is:
Acme offices, New Village, Oxford
Acme offices, Old Town, Oxford

No, not that I’m aware of

Absolutely right. You can have 1,000s of POIs in a single POI category. Have a look at our speed camera database! ;)
