|
|
Hi,
having just started with Mobile 5 I seem to be experiencing very inaccurate voiced turn distances eg turn right in 100yds (when its about 20yds) and turn left in 300 yds (when its probably 150-200). I have standard tt gps mk2 sirf III and (dont laugh!) Nokia 7610.
Does anybody know if this is normal for tt m5?
Many thanks |

Make sure you have all your POI's turned off. Too much clutter on screen can slow things down. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

Hi - don't have any POIs on the screen!
Are you suggesting my processor (125Mhz) may be the cause? |

Personally I would say yes, my old Mio 168 had a 288Mhz processor and even without POI's enabled I would say that's the minimum for up to TTN5 and for 6 I beleieve the minimum required is around 400Mhz. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

Ok - I believe you - so I will wait for the vario II to drop in price - it looks just the ticket. Many thanks for suggestions. |
