Laughing I am looking at buying my first sat nav . I am looking for something that will get me along side roads in France . Any recommendations please

ive moved it here so might get more answers

you want something with european coverage then the navman 530 looks a good buy though you will have to get a bigger storage card that what is supplied .

are you on bike or in a car when your traveling as this will influence you buying dession aswell

I have found garmin nuvi350 great with all major and minor roads for france and spain small and compact with expansion slot.Expensive but good.

Tom Tom 700 (if you can still find it) is a good buy, or the 710, which is the new model that replaces the 700. Both have seamless maps of Western Europe - so you can navigate door to door across borders.
