Hi all
Ive been running TT5 on an Acer n35 for probably 12 months, generally all ok,although i`mm on my 3rd acer.due to acer probs not TT5.
I had my present n35 back last week after a 6 week wait with WM2003SE on it.
Since having this n35 back,TT5 gets to the writing instructions stage and then sometimes goes back to desktop.and then the problem gets worse,as it happens more frequentley. And then it works fine for maybe an hour, then crashes back to desktop.
This did not happen at all with WM2003,
Any ideas what to try lads
is it worth formatting the sd card, and reloading from scratch?
can you defrag a sd card?
At my witts end now,Will not go back to an Acer again due to the loads of problems all with acer and not TT5.
I use the same kingston 512mb card
still got the external aerial
so cant get my head round the problem
cheers Bob

Just a follow up,
Have managed to defrag the sd card and for 3 hours all worked fine but alas i spoke too soon and its still crashes back to desktop on the pda.
Do you think a quicker sd card might help?
cheers

Back again
Think ive cracked it!
Have reinstalled TT5 on to a new formatted 66*sd card
On having a look in more depth on the old card noticed a file called msmetadata dont know where this came from.
Glad to say so far so good, been working happily all day.
Dont speak to soon
cheers
