I take it from your post that the sound warning files come with the poi download. Is that correct. I know with the Tom Tom I had to download voice alerts to alter the whistles and bells. |

No they don't, which is why I think oldfogy has probably pointed you in the wrong direction. All of the voice warnings that I have seen for download are for Tom Tom and so I can't point you anywhere else unfortunately. _________________ Peter

Sorry for any confusion in my last post.
As Peterc10 points out the links a gave do not lead to any voice warnings, only to the "camera" download site for the Garmin range. _________________ (If it ain't broke, I can soon fix it) |

The voices on a Tom Tom are stored in a specific file created by Tom Tom. They are not in a standard format such as wav.
They are so unique that if you update the TT firmware you have to update the voice file because it won't work anymore. So the chances of it working on a machine from another manufacturer are very remote to say the least.
I don't know if you can get voices for your machine but I am pretty sure that the TT ones won't work on it. _________________ Peter
