ABG 108 Bluetooth

Hi, I'm new to these forums, so would just like to say hello to you all! I've had a quick browse and there are a lot of good articles on here.

Now I'm not entirely sure this is the right place to post this query, but here goes. I recently bought a ABG 108 bluetooth receiver from a reputable supplier. I use it with TomTom on my Dell Axim X3. previously I was using a wired gps receiver.

I had no problems with the wired receiver, but just felt like a change, I got the bluetooth receiver, and it worked fine for about 8 to 9 days, no problems pairing etc. Then suddenly in the midst of a journey, the bluetooth connection was lost, and the 3 LED lights on the receiver stayed on constantly (1x bluetooth should blink, 1x power 1x satalite)

The unit has a reset button, but no matter what I did, removing battery/resetting etc the lights stayed the same. So I had the unit exchanged no problem.

I have had the repalcement unit for 2 weeks and the same problem has happened again! The unit is made by Sumvision, but they do not have any support pages. Has anyone heard or had this problem or unit?

We haven't heard of that receiver or company. Maybe you want to consider to get your money back and buy a better quality receiver like a Globalsat or Holux.
