Can you please tell me why some of the pocketgps pois will not download e.g. AA Walks Berks and Surry and the M6 Tolls? It keeps on saying there may be a connection problem or membership issue, yet my connection is fine for everything else and membership too???? |

Barry, I am not too sure why you are experiancing this, I have just tried both walking databases and they download fine.
There is no problem with the site, how are you trying to load the POI, is it from this main page ? http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/tomtompoi.php or possibly via POIEdit? - Mike |

Hi Mike, Thank you for the info. I am using POIEditor do you recommend any alternative? I've set my Firewall to allow Port 53. But I've just run POI and it stopped at number 2 Airfields.
Also I'd like to be able to update at work when my XDA is in the cradle but I don't seem able to log in to the site. |

POIEdit is not currently supported by the site, so this will probably go some way to explain your problems. This change came about in March this year, you can still download the POI's you require manualy to the PC, and then transfer them to the PDA - Mike |
