Help needed - ViaMichelin Installation problem

Hi,

I am having difficulty installing Via Michelin version 4 to my Tungsten E PDA.

The cd rom works fine and I can get past the first hot sync without any problem but as soon as it starts to perform the second hotsync operation it freezes on a 'please wait' message and will not go any further.

I have ample memory space on the PDA and a 1GB sd card so I know that isn't the problem. I have also tried it with my anti virus turned off and have deleted any temp files but still no joy.

I've had a look on the following Via Michelin web page and basically come a cropper at Stage 11.

Hi Niall,

If it makes you feel any better I am having exactly the same problem with version 4.2, also with a Palm TE. I've recently switched computers and decided to have a clean start on the Palm too.... and now I can't reinstall the software, it just hangs on the 2nd sync. I have had it running on there before so the CD used to work which is the annoying thing.

I can use the SD card still so its not a complete disaster but it does mean no mapstore on the PC and no POI manager for the camera database.

I'll let you know if I have any joy with a solution
