Lose Sat fix when calculating long route

Hi all,

During my last few long trips I have noticed that I loose the sat signal when the ICN 510 has to do long trip calculations. Eventually (minutes) later it will re-aquire the sat signal. In some cases it does it then tries to re-calculate the trip and looses the signal again, etc. It almost looks like too many hardware resources are given to the trip calculation that the resources needed keep the sat signal are lost.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips?

When I first had my 510 I could not calculate any European trips, even though having full European mapping.
With the help of this site my problem was solved.
I did not have ferries & ports enabled.
Is this the case with you?
