I have TT5 running on an IPAQ 2210 and have recently bought a Rikaline 6033 Bluetooth receiver.

Everything works well together apart from one problem that I thought I had resolved - but appears not.

When starting up TT it brings up the Bluetooth Browser (in Bluetooth Console) and I have to select the Rikaline device each time. It also needs selecting if running on auto and the car stalls since it loses power and switches off.

I did get it working this morning without selection by deleting the TT Bluetooth Manager (remove programmes) and also removing the pairing (in that order) but being inquisitive I then decided to put BT manager back (by restoring a backup and then deleting the pairing) and since then I have not been able to duplicate what i did and am back to selecting each time it starts!

The Rikaline icon in BT browser also has a large blue question mark superimposed on it - even when only 2" away from the PDA and it connects when selected!

How do I set the system up so they link without me having to select the rikaline unit each time?

Hi,

your problem has nothing to do with TomTom.

Search the forums for "BtBrowserEnabled" - that tells you how to fix that.

Downloaded the Bluetooth Tweaker and it has solved the problem.

Thanks
