can anyone tell me what they are ?
they are countries. for example 'england' is the country we commonly refer to as 'england'. you select which country the intersection is in, much the same way you select which country the city/address you want is in...

Not sure if this is a wind-up or not...
They're the countries/regions that are covered by the street level mapping on your i3. Although some (the ones outside the United Kingdom) only have cross border mapping (street level detail for areas near the border with the UK), i.e. France only covers the northern coast. Some names you may not recognise as they are in the mother language of the country concerned as well as English (i.e. Belgie, Belgique and Belgium - Flemish, French and English), these will all give the same results. Once you have selected which country you require you will be offered further choices to drill down to junction you require. It's a process of getting closer and eliminating superfluous 'out of region' data. _________________ Chas

Hi Millwalll,
as a new user another piece of software you may find useful is easygps. It enables you to extract poi detail from an i3. By pressing and holding the middle roller button you can save your current location. This can then be extracted to a pc/laptop as long and lat co-ordinates enabling you to establish your exact location for example what country your in? Hope your getting along well with your i3.... _________________ -----------------------------------
