Can I get a free map upgrade for my i3?

Hello all

After using my Navtalk for navigation for quite sometime now i decided to bite the bullet and get a dedicated unit.Garmin Streetpilot i3 was my 1st choice,having trailed all over my local city electrical/motoring retailers with no joy,I finally found a display unit in argos that i persuaded the manager to sell me.Having got home i found it had v7 maps on the card a quick read of these forums has told me that free upgrades to v8 were available,does anyone know if this still available and how do i go about it?

yes, send the transflash card baco to Garmin. I would suggest registered post and they will update it for you. I would ring them up first and they should give you a returns no
