i have a xdalli and xdall
i have installed tomtom 5 on both using same setup however i can only get the xdalli to connect to my gps receivers.
no matter what com port i pick on the xdall tomtom only reports no gps device.
has anyone else come accross this problem and is there a fix. |

It would help if you told us what type of and which make of GPS you are trying to connect to. Is it wired or Bluetooth? _________________ Graham.

Is this anything to do with installing the same software on 2 devices? Does this refer to two different sotware items, i.e. two separately purchased TT5 software packages or are you tring to setp the same software on two devices? |

the xda 2 uses a different bluetooth stack than the xda2i have a serch for pocket bluetooth tools I can't post the link at the moment due to being away in scotland on holiday but if noones posted it by the time I get back then ill put the link up the bt tools will change the com port to com 7 if memory serves correct _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Good bye IOS don't let the door hit you on the way out .

Have a look at http://bluetooth.i-networx.de/index_e.html the download is avail from this page, its by far the easiest way to get a BT GPS working on the XDAII. Mike |
