|
Hi just bought a 500 from Halfords at the weekend but when I look at it it says that it is running version 5.410 is this the latest one or not? Also when I plan a route using postcode and address for my house it does seem to be out by quite a bit if there is a update would this help fix the problem and how easy is it to install an update?
Many thanks,

The latest software version for the 500 is V5.440 and no, it won't make any difference to the Postcode co-ordinates as that is tied to the Map. _________________ Richard

There is a newer version. Click on this link for more info. I don't know if it will solve your problem though. What do you mean by the route being "out by quite a bit"? |

Postcodes can sometimes cover a large area - so TT will choose the midle of that area - that may explain why. Normally after putting postcode in you are prompted for street and house number. _________________ Peter
