do tom tom sell the software only?

I have a bluetooth GPS and route 66 (old version) running on an old ngage.

But I'd like to get something newer. Route 66 do software only for my N70 for 99 Euro. But tomtom seem to only sell the kit.

does anyone know if you can get just the software separately?

I've looked at that, he said it was genuine and that the anti piracy officer at TomTom said it was ok.

I checked with TomTom and they don't know anything about it.

why would he be worried about anti piracy ?
to me it looks like he's just splitting the TTM box to sell the software and gps seperately
pretty good idea IMO, as a lot of people (on this forum anyway), including me, will already have a gps receiver

Alternatively you could buy the software+GPS package then sell the GPS on ebay.
