Route 66 now extract TMC information for various European contries, including UK, and supply it ,FOC, for both PDA and Symbian phone systems.
I have been trying out their Route 66 mobile on a Nokia 6600 for about 4 weeks. With the GPRS set to Orange and the update time set at 10 minutes you get a comprehensive lisiting of 'up to date' traffic data for info. OR for automatic re-routing.
A voice instruction advises of a traffic re-route.
I have tested at home and have also encountered live route updates which seem to be practical and timely.
This phone application is practical and effective.
? anyone else with experience of Route 66?? |

Disappointingly, my TMC doesn't appear to work, and their support don't seem interested.
My GPRS connection works for everything else, so I can't understand why the TMC doesn't work
Has anyone else had this problem? |

I use Route 66 just for the TMC information.
The navigation program itself is total rubbish, and TTM5 is far superior. |
