i have recieved my TT1 back, i dont think its been replaced im guessing it was just a repair job, basically my seaker stopped working, i sent it back

but i think that the custon voices for speedcamera alerts killed it?

has any one else had this problem?

any wya my main question was do you think its worth me just using it without all the extras or carry on regardless?

I wouldn't of thought you could kill it by addingany extra's which were designed for gps systems. Did you try and reinstall back to the factory settings - if so did it cure it. It should of and that would mean just a software glitch. If not then its obviously a hardware failure (dry joint etc).
I would say carry on as before - ive owned the tom tom go classic, go 700 and installed numerious extra's with no problems. I think you just had a dodgey one.
