what files for tom tom 1

my friend has just bought a new tom tom 1 unit.
it has no speed cameras on it.
if he downloads the latest june file off here and drops it in to the map folder on the card will it work, or does he need to install some other file for the cameras before putting the update on

you need to download the ov2 files for tomtom unzip the folder and copy the files with in that folder to the great-britain-map fodler on the sd card of the tt one

Yes, just copy the OV2 and BMP Files into the Map Folder and in Manage POI, set up Warn When Near for visual and audible warnings. Smile

so the july ones will be fine on there own.
what is best for tom tom 1 the single file or multi file one.

thats really down to personal choice and how much room you want to leave on the sd card
