Where do New Maps go on the 6515?

Hello All, newbie here, I have the 6515 and have installed my one free city map. I have the Great Britain TT5 map on CD but cannot work out where it goes or how to 'tell' the Internal TT S/w its got it. Any help out there?

- TomTom Navigator version 5.100 and higher can no longer access v4 maps.

Many Thanks for replying. The 6515 has TT built in and so doesnt need/use the storage card and seems to have a different Folder layout to Storage Card verions of TT so I'm not sure where to put it or how to get TT to recognise it, also my GB map is V5

The 6515 has an OLD version of TomTom Navigator installed. And as soon as you want a larger map you NEED a storage card.

Hi Lutz, again thanks for the quick reply! I checked the version in the 6515 and its 5.2, so I assume from your post that this isnt the latest? As I have an SD card with TT 5 and the GB maps (I bought this for a previous Ipaq) perhaps its easiest to just delete TT from the 6515 and install from the SD card? Or is it in ROM on the 6515

Latest version is 5.210 (5431) and you can get it from the TomTom site. It will install to RAM but you can move it to Storage card (or iPaq File Store) if you want.

The map CD has a installer program that will help you transfer the map to the SD card. Do that through a card reader on the PC, not through the device.
