Sorry to bother you but I have waited since february as I know you have had teething problems. I am still unable to download the camera updates even though I have been given membership until 2026.
Can you notify me by e mail, it's taken me half an hour to find this page.
I know I'm getting past it and not very good with computers and all the jargon, but I managed to download everything OK until membership was required.
Many thanks

If you can explain what problems occur, and at what point in the process, someone will be able to help you out. Can you also tell us what Operating System and browser software you are using on the PC that you are trying to download on? Also what SatNav software? _________________ Jock

Thanks for replying. I have the basic tom tom go, and use internet explorer. I have downloaded the cameras OK until it became chargeable. As I had sent a contribution previously, I have been given lifetime membership. I cannot access the speed camers now though as I am told I need to sign up, and cannot sort out how to do it. I get the impression that if I sent £2.00 I would be given access. I think that the problem is at pocket gps end not recognising me.
I hope that you understand this and are not becoming as confused as me.
Thanks

Hi Derek,
I have just checked the system and you're not a lifetime member. Did you respond to the email that we sent to you with the information that we required?
If so, can you send it again please (and any other emails you think may be relevant) and we'll get you up and running asap.
Thanks. _________________ Robert Brady |

Dear rob,
I have pasted parts of 2 e mails I received on the 28th feb this year. As you see, it says do not respond and I didn't, being an obedient sort of bloke.
I sent a contribution by paypal on 30th August 2005.
Thanks very much for your help
Derek

Excellent - all sorted, please check your email.
It looks as if you've been given 2 lifetime memberships - one cancels the other out on our system. You were probably credited for recent camera additions as well as your donation.

Are you saying, that if a lifetime member were the first to submit a new fixed camera would automatically have their life membership terminated. _________________ Graham.

I seem to have a similar problem to that encountered by DEREKN, I also responded to the initial message for free membership; but; having not received a reply I sent off the annual subscription, which was accepted. I can enter the members area, etc. but cannot download the updates for the cameras. Again, I had no problem before enrolling. Can, anyone assist this ageing Tomtom Classic user. I am using Mozilla, Cam unzip, and windows XP.
A direct reply would be appreciated.

Yes, but easily rectified. It's an embedded system problem that we are aware of. We'll just have to hand check them all before we send them out. technology eh? _________________ Robert Brady |

Not really, it would be impossible for a member that it happened to not to spot. Just a little extra work for us... and you know how much we love our work _________________ Robert Brady |
