I have tried to use the SmartST Desktop to remove all the old speed cam POIs from my Navman and then install the new (May) ones. The POI files were getting a little cluttered with the various names I have used in the past. I selected each POI, then pressed 'Delete' for each on and was prompted at the end to agree to the changes or to cancel. I agreed.
However, when I checked on the iCN510 device in 'My POIs', all the old files were still there. Tried it on more than one occasion with the same result. Checked the device display and they still show up.
Anyone suggest what I am doing wrong or is it the device Idea Question
Thanks Wink

Hi have you tried viewing the POI`S through Active Sync and deleting them that way?

I deleted some off my sd card but i used a card reader to delete them and they deleted ok.

Good luck

Archie

Yes, tried that. Didn't work. Perhaps, I'll try looking at them on the SD card via a card reader. Good idea. Tks Wink

Well that worked OK. Deleted all the POIs via the card reader and then re-installed via the SmartST (Active Sync). Still don't know why it will not work via he Desktop but, there you go. Thanks Wink
