Saw this fantastic device on a recent trip to Tottenham Court Road and I want one.
Cant find a review of the A701 or Miomaps on the site so a few questions for those of you that own one.
supergps.co.uk are selling it with Miomaps on a 512MB SD card. Does anyone know how much spare space there is on a 512MB card? I will want to install memory map and os map data on it.
How do you find Miomaps? What info does it display on the screen when driving, next turn, eta, speed etc? |

but my question is how much space is left on a 512MB card with Mio Maps and UK maps installed?
Very interesting review amd comments at the above link.
Another question, does the sat nav continue working when a phone call is received on the phone? |

I purchased my Mio A701 with miomaps from superetrader and with the supplied miomap on a 512mb card, it leaves 245mb free for other maps or applications.
Hope that helps. |

Yes. I use CoPilot 6 and when a call is received the phone gets the focus, when you hang up the sat nav continues. |

I have the mio a701 and it is a good pda/phone. the gps is great. locks on to sats very quickly. the maps r on a 512 card and you do have at leat half the card spare. It is a very friendly pda/phone to have. best of all the other mio products :o |
