hi all i have just purchased an advent gps400 unit but cannot find any reference to this model on the site.i think it is connected to medion hence posting here.the software says navteq 5 ver 5.1 does mean i can d/load speed cams in poi any help appreciated |

I bought the Advent GPS400 from Currys for £199.
I think it's excellent. Full street level european maps was the big plus point that won me over.
I figured the GPS400 software was the same as Medion Navigator V5.1 so I risked buying POIWarner for the Medion Navigator V5.1. It worked a treat!!! |

Had to install POI Warner, , then went to POIhandler top create accoutn for POIs - note speed cams are not free, but quite cheap. Seems to downbloads all new info whenever I sync, although need to check this point
Points to note
Only works for Navigator 5.1 - check before you proceed
Install exactly as per instructions, don't try any shortcuts
Set up POIhandler account when prompted
That's it |

well i decided to give tomtom5 a try on this machine and it works great the only problem i have is the signal meter does not work.have searched every where for info but no luck yet has anybody got ideas _________________ ipaq 4150 on powered cradle with tt6
medion md95000 with tt6
advent gp400 with tomtom6 |

I too purcased the POI Warner software. and downloaded a number of speedcamera maps from this site.. WOW. works a treat. Now looking for a new voice ...... any ideas? |
