garmin streetpilot i3

I've just bought a garmin i3, I've paid for the speed camera database and downloaded it onto my computer. I've also loaded the software onto my computer but can't seem to load the database onto my garmin i3! Would much appreciate any ideas

Tried eveything you suggested, but my computer still won't recognise the GARMIN i3 is connected. Do I need to have a memory card in the garmin because it didn't come with one?

Have you got the latest USB drivers for the i3? http://www.garmin.com/support/collection.jsp?product=010-00434-00
