Can anybody help, ive spent the last week trying to make tomtom mobile5 work on my nokia n70 with no luck. I am now thinking of ditching tomtom in favour of route 66, but before i go out and spend yet more money could anybody tell me if i am going to run into the same problems with route 66? as some of us n70 owners were having with tomtom, ie freezing and gps dropping out.
Any info on how the nokia n70 handles route66 (mobile7) would be much apreciated. |

You know what? I was going to wait for a review, but it's such a good price if you only need the software that I have just decided to order it myself. _________________ Kam |

Should I put the R66 on instead.
I already have the 03-03-06 software on the N70.

I wouldn't bother to. It's pretty clear that the N70 is at fault rather than the Satnav software. I have worked out procedures which make the N70 on firmware V3 reasonably reliable with either of these Satnav programs, but have reverted to TT myself. Next step is to get the firmware upgraded again. _________________ Kam |
