Hi All,
I purchased a ttone a few months back and I have been happy with it apart from one thing, when you eject the SD card turn it on press and hold the on/off button down you get all the technical specifications, hardware type, boot loader version, memory etc. one thing that is of concern to me is the cpu speed, my one reports 288 MHz! I have made sure the battery is fully charged and have also tried it whilst connected to the electricity supply. Also my ttone has fully up to date firmware etc.
The tomtom spec says it should be fitted with a 380 MHz CPU: I have sent email to tt support about this as of yet no reply, any info on this would be appreciated.

This has been covered here before, although I cannot find the post.
I believe someone contacted tomtom support and the reply was the boot loader screen does run at 288 MHz, when the tomtom software starts the CPU runs at 380 MHz |

Thank you,
I did a search through the forum before I posted, but I could not find anything about this.
Cheers! |
