I am asking this because I have just added speed cameras to my i3 and going down the local dual carridgeway the i3 was bonging when ever I went over 70mph. I couldn't see any cameras around anywhere.
Should there only be bongs near to the cameras etc or if I am doing over 70.
John

The i3 'bongs' whenever within the alert distance specified and over the alert speed defined for any POIs - in this case - Safetycams - when 'proximity alerts' are enabled on the unit.

Any perceived 'erroneous bonging' is usually down to Mobile Safetycams - but your dislay should always show a relevant icon on your route (small cam on a tripod is a mobile one...)

If the bonging troubles you, either disable proximity alerts or turn the volume to zero (but then will lose your voiceprompts too!)

Aitch2, Thanks for the answer, so it's only when near POI's and not just because of the speed. Thats what I thought, I must try again & see it it happens on the same bit of road
