Just reading through some of these threads, in pareticular the one about moving your phone icon to page 1 from page 4 after you've installed POI Capture, and it says "You should have a folder on your TomTom unit that is called "SdkRegistry" and in that folder you will have the file that defines the menu, which is called tomtom.mnu."

So why can't I find my SDK folder??

Cheers all

The downloaded zip file should expand to include the new folders. From the install instructions:-

Quote:
The steps to a successful installation are:

1. Download the POICapture ZIP file and save it on a folder on your PC.
2. Use the File Explorer to extract the POICapture ZIP file to the root directory of your GO
3. Rename the tomtom.mnu file in the SdkRegistry directory. If you are installing in a TomTom GO 500 or 700 then you need to rename tomtom.700.mnu to tomtom.mnu otherwise for the GO 300 or GO Classic then you need to rename the tomtom.300.mnu to tomtom.mnu.

The POICapture.zip file will create the following folders, if the folders do not already exist:

* /SdkRegistry
* /POICapture

You can also add it manually. Here's the original post (AFAIK) that described how to make your own menus:
